Blue Beckwith is a creator, director, and video editor from Teesside, UK.
I’ve been producing videos for clients for many years as a self-employed video editor, including work for television and social media.
My style leans toward the satirical and absurd, but I can make straight and serious content too.
I started editing videos when I was a child, commandeering the family camcorder to make my own horror films in my garden, and I’ve loved it since then. The ability to arouse emotions simply by moving images around is truly magical to me.
I’m proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop, I can work with analogue tech including vintage camcorders and VHS tapes, and digitise the footage to use in my work.

My work was featured on the Canal+ tv show called “Arte” in a segment showcasing unusual viral videos online.
I wear many hats, and can write, set design, light, operate the camera, act, direct, produce audio, and edit all my stuff, but love collaborative efforts too.
I generally share my stuff on social media such as YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter(X), where I’ve had several posts get millions of views.
My work is generally very daft, satirical, and at times disorienting or overwhelming. The focus is usually pop culture, films, or video games.
